This project involved the transportation, weight checking and palletizing of tubular bags in boxes.
The filled bags are transported from the bag machine through the feed hopper onto an ascending conveyor belt. A belt conveyor transports them onto a belt scale.
If the weight is within the tolerance range, the robot picks up the bags from the conveyor belt using a single or four-cavity tool and places them on one of the two pallet spaces.
In the system, the packaging units on both pallet storage spaces are filled with flowpacks one after the other. When the maximum number of flowpacks has been reached at a station, the roller shutter opens automatically and the pallet can be removed.
If the weight is not within the tolerance range, the flowpacks are diverted into a box at the end of the conveyor belt.
