Counter mold transport system for hollow chocolate figures
Counter mold transport system for hollow chocolate figures
BRA1801
| Task | Transport and metal detection of hollow chocolate figures |
| Size | XL |
| Industry | Chocolate |
| Main function | Moving, others |
| Interfaces | CHOCAL |
| Degree of customization | Standard |
This project was to realize the transport and storage of hollow chocolate figures in counter-molds.
The hollow chocolate figures are fed into the first robot cell from the previous system. Here they are removed and placed in counter-molds on a parallel transport line. They are then lifted by a full-mold elevator onto the transport system, which runs below the ceiling. At the end of the line, the counter-molds are lowered again by an elevator and pass through a metal check. Contaminated hollow bodies are subsequently discharged onto a hinged belt.
Non-contaminated products are conveyed by a full-mold storage system onto an indexing conveyor. From here, the counter-mold plates are distributed to three robot cells of the downstream system, where the hollow chocolate bodies are removed. The supply of the counter-molds is dependent on the readiness of the individual cells.
The now empty molds are lowered onto the return conveyor belt and pass through an empty mold storage area. They are then turned in a mold emptying station to remove product residues. The empty counter-molds are then raised to the transport level via an elevator and returned to the first robot cell, where they are reloaded.
